Headline: The center works to develop effective means for the exchange of ideas between likeminded research institutions, youth groups and scholars to develop long-term, sustainable and compatible programs.
On 26th March 2022, inauguration ceremony of the new office of Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future was held at Islamabad. Although, the center has been working as an independent think tank for over a year. Now, it has formally established a base office at Islamabad. Pakistan Research Center of a Community with Shared Future has been established in collaboration with Communication University of China (CUC), Beijing, China under the grand narrative of President Xi Jinping ‘’Building a Community with Shared Future for Mankind’’.
The think tank help carry out such activities which assist in provision to timely provide input for Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), CPEC, Eurasian Regional Connectivity, and Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). Moreover, the platform supports building an academic network and initiating collaborative academic projects.
Over the year, Pakistan Research Center has worked in significant domains to foster academic/research cooperation, promote country’s soft image and enhance people-to-people contacts with prestigious institutions around the globe. In this aspect, the center has organized many online internship programs, international conferences, seminars, roundtable discussions, and webinars with national and international partners to understand President Xi Jinping’s grand visions, Chinese policies to integrate the states, and changing dynamics of international relations.
For the extraordinary work done by Pakistan Research Center for a Community with Shared Future, the center was awarded with “Extraordinary Center” of the year 2021, by Communication University of China (CUC), Beijing. It is indeed an honor for the center to stand at top among the pool of other established international centers under International Academic Network for a Community with Shared Future (IAN-CSF).
