Khalld Taimur Akram, who is the Director of the Pakistan Research Center for A Community with Shared Futureand the Executive Director of the Centre for Global and Strategic Studies(CGSS),on joining the Expert group for enhancingEurope - Asia Connectivity of the Romanian Institute for Europe-Asia Studies(IRSEA), which is part of European Alliance of Asian Studies

As Director of the Pakistan Research Center for A Community with Shared Future, Communication University of China, Lt. Col. Khalld Taimur Akram hasbeen cooperatingclosely with ICSF in many aspects, we look forward to in-depth cooperation between the two sides at a new starting pointandexploring new areas of China-Pakistan friendship. 

One of Pakistan’s most distinguished voices in International Affairs, Lt. Col. Khalld Taimur Akram is the Executive Director of the Centre for Global and Strategic Studies(CGSS), Islamabad. One of Pakistan and South Asia’s most notable think-tanks, also a partner of IRSEA. An expert and prolific publicist on Geopolitical Affairs, Advisor on Belt and Road Initiative and Media Analyst, Lt. Col. Khalld Taimur Akram has been the Executive Director of CGSS since 2016. Under his leadership, the Islamabad-based think-tank raised to international fame, offering consistent support in policy optimization and decision-making through analysis and research, while conducting multiple joint projects with partners worldwide.  

As a Pakistani expert in International Affairs with Global Recognition, his research and consulting have enabled him to work with governments and international organizations in over 30 countries. As founder of CGSS concept, Lt. Col. Khalld Taimur Akram brought together under CGSS umbrella Pakistan’s top intellectuals, retied civil & armed forces personnel, academicians, business community, and various private & public sector institutions. While leading CGSS, he has significantly contributed in the fields of research work on “Regional Connectivity” and “Belt and Road Initiative”. As Executive Director, he steered the Pakistani think-tank toward analyzing the critical global encounters, such as rising and emerging powers in Asia, counter terrorism narratives, energy security, national social issues, economic growth & climate change around the world. Similarly, he has played a major role in highlighting various issues and policy suggestions of national and international impact.
